Folkert Draaisma, Board Member

Folkert Draaisma studied physics and started his scientific career in the field of Radiobiology. When he moved to the Delft University of Technology as a university lecturer he was mainly involved in radiation protection courses and co-author of a Radiation Protection book, the Dutch standard. At the Nuclear Research and consultancy Group (NRG) in Petten, the Netherlands, he was responsible for the approved (neutron) dosimetry service and the recognized radiation protection courses. Since 2006 he is the radiation protection expert of NRG. As a result of his participation in EU projects he is one of the founders of EUTERP and was its first President.
