Hielke Freerk Boersma is the Radiation Protection Expert of the University of Groningen. He is also responsible for the officially recognized E&T programme in Radiation Protection at his home institute. From 2002 - 2020 he served the Dutch Society for Radiation Protection as member of the Board, including from 2008-2014 as president. He is a board member of EUTERP since 2022.
