Germany

Since the introduction of the EU BSS in 2013, the German legislation has changed. The German Act on radiation protection is the Strahlenschutzgesetz StrlSchG  and the associated radiation protection ordinance is the Strahlenschutzverordnung, StrlSchV.

There are unofficial English versions of these two pieces of legislation which may be of interest for comparisons purposes with the requirements in other countries: StrlSchG  and StrlSchV. Chapter 5 of part 2 (planned exposure situation) of the ordinance (StrlSchV) contains some details on the requirements in education and training but detailed directive(s) regarding E&T are still in preparation.
