Competence-based approaches in radiation protection

The EUTERP Foundation organised their 10th workshop, continuing the tradition of fostering dialogue and collaboration on key themes in radiation protection education and training. This event brought together experts, educators, regulators, and stakeholders to explore competence-based approaches in radiation protection.
Proposed topics included:
- Designing competences in radiation protection, including soft skills, AI literacy, and sustainability.
- Evaluation of competences: methods, tools, and best practices.
- Qualification pathways for Radiation Protection Experts (RPE) and Radiation Protection Officers (RPO), including validation, accreditation, certification, and micro-credentials.
- European competence frameworks: comparisons, references, and country-specific developments.
